Second Chances by Amy Simone is set in the lush greenery of the Acadiana region of Louisiana with its crawfish boils and Gulf oil rigs, this love triangle actually has four corners–all the way from the self-absorbed lawyer, to a good ole swamp running mountain man and aspiring newscaster Toodles who must figure out who and what is best for her. Gloria, as the ghost, observes and cajoles the entire time, always aware of which man is best for her living childhood friend.

With her aspiring career hopes of working in television flag, Toodles who plays the part never can seem to break in–that is, until she is granted a totally new direction. After a few stumbles, she becomes master of her own ship and her life takes flight.
